A prayer request for a dear friend's cousin

I recieved a prayer request from a good friend of mine for her cousin. I feel very honored that she chose me to pray for them.

Oh Heavenly Father I call for your divine intervention. There is nobody like you. Your healing hands are like no other. Lord I bring Stacey's cousin and say have your way in her life.

Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. (Exodus 23:25)

Heavenly Father your word says that those who are your disciples, your followers are given the power to heal...

Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. (Luke 9:1)

Well Lord as a disciple of your word I stand in the gap between Stacey's cousin and use the power within me to cure this cancer. This disease has no place within her body. You made her perfect Lord so make her perfect again Father. Give her strength. Make her victorious over this cancer. Who said we have to accept these things in our life. You didn't make us to have illnesses and sickness so why should we allow it to even be a part of our being. It's like dirt that we have the authority to dust off so please Lord I pray that you install in us the belief that we have the strength to take control. Father I thank you for your complete love of us all. For the blessings you show us is like nothing else. Your love is unchanging, consistent and full.

Lord I pray also for Stacey. I pray that she will draw nearer to you. When in need she will feel confident to ask you for the things she needs. We know you already know what she needs before she needs it but I pray that Stacey will come to you for her strength.

Stacey all is well with you. The Lord knows what you need and those things in your heart will be granted, all you need to do is claim them. Think of it like a reward from your job. You know it's yours but you haven't claimed it. How you going to get something that's yours without taking it. That's all you need to do is ask for it then go and take it. Claim your reward. Do you ever feel like you don't deserve it? The difference between man made reward and God's reward is that it's free there are no clause behind it. Once it's yours it's yours, free Stace. You earned it by just knowing that the Lord meets all your needs. I will always be here for you, I'll continue to pray for you and agree with your requests from God. If she hasn't already I pray your cousin gives her heart to Christ. You are much stronger than you give yourself credit for and I look forward to the day when you ask me to agree with you in prayer :-)

1st Year Anniversary - Dad

Hi dad. It's been a year today since you took your well earned rest. I can't believe it's been a year already dad.

So a quick update on how your Shan Shan has been. I know you know it already but I'm doing good. Yes I have had shaky moments but with great people and a even greater god I have been getting over them. I'm finally out of that place that you wouldn't have liked to see me in and I'm going to be buying my own house it's going to happen soon.

I'm doing well at work just waiting for a date for my senior interview and I have got lots of plans for the future. I know you are watching over me and can see me when I'm feeling stressed (we won't go into what things are making me stressed lol that is just between me, you and God).

I hope I'm still making you proud and putting a smile on your face. I just want to say thank you dad for giving me the peace I feel when I remember you, thank you for giving your life to Christ before you took your final sleep. You doing that has taken a big burden from me as I know you are in a great place and can watch over me. I do miss you lots though and would be lying if I said I would not wish to have had even more time with you. Selfish me I know but what girl does not want her dad to be around to celebrate her promotion or first home or be there at their wedding (all these things are going to happen for your Shan Shan) but I know you have the best position a dad could ask for because you get to be with me wherever I go. Your in prime position, no heads or bodies blocking your view. Just don't gloat too much lol. I can hear you now saying 'that's my girl' as I whisper 'that's for you dad'.

Happy Mother's Day to the most precious mum in the world. Mum you are amazing, the strongest woman I know. You've been through so much the last couple of years but no one would have guessed because you take everything in your stride and your smile never leaves your face. I don't need a special day to tell you how much I love you because you truly are the queen of my heart. Your not only a mother to me and the other 6, but you seem to 'adopt' everyone you come into contact with. Your caring nature is visible for all to see. You've taught me how to be a strong woman and some lessons for when I have children of my own. I'm so blessed that I have you in my life. You continue to support me in all that I do. Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to my dad and stepdad. It's hard seeing people celebrate with their dad's but I don't need a special day to thank you both for the influences you have had on my life. Even in heaven you are both impacting my life in a positive way. All these things I'm striving for and achieving are so that you two are proud of me. I miss you both so much and l wish I could send your cards and presents but this way I get to do something even more special for you, I get to honour your names through my life. Im also lucky to have had 2 dads where as some don't even get the chance to have one. I'm sending the biggest cuddles and lots of kisses to you both. Love you both lots and lots. 1 year anniversary xoxox

Today marks the first year anniversary of my stepdad passing. Can't believe it's a year already. It's made me realise how close together my dad and stepdad passed away. 3 months and 3 weeks. It's also made me realise how having a strong faith can make you strong because I know that would have destroyed most people but although I miss them lots I can still smile when I remember them. So Harris just wanted to send you some hugs and say thank you for being a part of my life. I know mumsy is missing you a lot but don't worry I'll be seeing her tomorrow and I will be spending her birthday and your wedding anniversary (on Monday) with her so she won't be alone. Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman in my life. Been really nice treating her today. Took her for a nice meal and a catch up then went to my stepdads grave to put some flowers down as it's also their wedding anniversary. Now we are spending some quality mother and daughter time. Then going to take her to see some of her friends. Then tonight we are going to watch a film and chill out. I've decided to extend her birthday celebration for the whole of this week. A prayer for my lovely friend

A dear friend of mine told me that she has been put on medication due to feeling stressed, so I did what I only know what to do and started praying (name has been removed to protect identity)

S I wrote a prayer for you. I know I don't know what your relationship is like with God or even if you believe in him but I acted on your behalf. Hope this helps u hunny.

Heavenly Father I bring S before you. Lord I know you can see that she is struggling and needs your divine intervention. Let her feel strong enough to say
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

S I am not here to ram the bible down your throat but just wanted to equip you with a tool that might help you because I do not want to see you on tablets to get over this. I know you can do it without. When you feel like you can not do it anymore remember this

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

And finally say this to yourself

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Remember that you are never alone. Even in your low days there is always someone ready to stand up and continue the fight for you. In the time that I have known you I have always admired your strength and ability to make the best out of any situation. You have achieved things people only hope to achieve. All will be well with you but don't for a second doubt your strength. When you get over this blip it's not because of the tablets it's because you remembered that you are strong and know how to dust yourself off and go again. You are amazing Hun. Thank You

I'm so happy and I want to thank you Heavenly Father for everything you have done and continue to do in my life. Whenever I think I am at a loss you remind me why you are God, for nothing is impossible for you. If only I had fully understood how you give so freely. A mere woman like me can achieve so much just by asking......

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7.

This goes to show where I have turned my focus from what is written right in front of my eyes. I'm learning to trust you more Lord. Everything seems to be falling into place. I know you will continue to help me grow. I ask that you continue to guide me when it comes to work and house hunting. I thank you for giving me the strength I need whenever I feel lost. Thank you for a great month I feel truly blessed that there continues to be lots of progression in my life. Amen xoxox

Today shall become yesterday in as much as tomorrow will become today and then yesterday..... Time is virtue, no room for replay, the camera keeps on rolling irrespective of your person.

Make the most of it, keep hope alive and touch lives positively.

Just as death is inevitable, we must strive to live our life to the fullest, exploring all possible options to leave good footprints in the sand of time.

The "I" factor should be suppressed and the "WE" factor should stand tall.
