My name is Shanelle Maxwell and I am currently living in Kent. From a very early age my mum, the beautiful Mary Jordan has told me I should be a writer, now I don't think I'm quite there yet but over the last 2 years I have begun writing again, it was about this time that I started attending an amazing church called Christian Life Fellowship. I have developed a great passion of writing my prayers down and when my step dad was very sick in hospital I wrote a prayer to help me and my mum. She again said I should do 'something' with my prayers so I decided that this was my 'something'.
Now I have had a lot of ups and downs and no more so than this year (2013) having my dad pass away in Feb 13 and then less than 4 months later my step dad passed away June 13 and I kept having people ask me how have I managed to be so positive.........my response?????? God never gives me more than I can handle, there is always a positive in every negative.
My hope for this blog is to basically show others how faith keeps us motivated.
2025 update - Well its been exciting looking back on where and how this blog started. Sorry it's been a while. God has been busy transforming my life. I married my best friend (yes still annoyingly modest but also still amazing), started our businesses, bought a house and moved house and that's just a snippet
God has been working on me and whilst my faith has been tested I truly believe that having faith has given me the freedom to all God to shape me into the woman he is calling me to be.
