A prayer for Harris (my step dad)

(Written by me for my mum and step dad after he had been put on the Liverpool Care Plan)

Heavenly Father I praise your name. Lord I bring Harris before you. Lord I call for your divine intervention, I ask you to restore Harris. Lord u tell us to ask and it will be given. Well lord I'm asking that you step in and show us all your power and your glory. Lord have mercy on the doctors and nurses who are trying to make decisions only fit for you to make. Take over almighty father and show them that you are the beginning and the end, the centre, our saviour, comforter, and director. I place Harris in your hands, your loving arms and praise your name. Take him in your will and not the will of these people that are trying to decide when a person dies. Lord you have already written Harris' date and I pray father that he sees the date that you have placed on him. I call for your cleansing, wash away Harris' sins. Father we are calling out for you. Do not leave us. Vulnerable we are not but strong powerful followers of Christ. I Thank you for everything you do and continue to do in our lives. Lord father I worship you. I can not praise you enough. My protector, saviour and salvation. I look to you, eyes focused onto you almighty one. Glory be to you. Father I pray that you come and shake up this world so that we fall back into line, the path that leads to you. Let us stop doing things in our own strength but instead get our directions and guidance from you. Lord Harris has given his life to you, let your will be done onto him. Humbly we come with our head bowed before you. Touch our hearts. Thank you Christ for your commitment to us. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
